Celeste Fiehler is a mother of five, with two graduates and three children currently enrolled in public schools in the Coachella Valley. Fiehler has consistently been involved with the Parent Union as an Ambassador in Riverside County and an active proponent for re-opening the schools. She is a known and respected organizer who not only gathers parents for rallies – the “green shirt moms” – but is an effective voice for transparency within her school district, holding trustees accountable for their decisions. She was instrumental in mobilizing a strong group of parents to reopen their school district to in-person instruction for 4 days a week, something that was opposed by the local teacher’s union. Fiehler is a fierce defender of all children’s right to a quality education.
