Liz Lawler | Major Gifts Officer

Liz Lawler is a former city council member and mayor, and a current candidate for California State Assembly.  She also serves on the board of Saint Francis High School in Mountain View CA.

Liz has worked in advertising, has three children, and two grandchildren. She’s been room mom, team mom, realtor, philanthropist, and most recently an elected official. All of these combined experiences have provided Liz with the opportunity to develop the policy insights, diplomatic skills, and desire to make a positive impact on the lives of all Californians.

Liz is passionate about ensuring every child receive a world class education that prepares them for the 21st century.  As a private citizen, she has created and supported scholarship opportunities for disadvantaged youth in both K-12 and college.

As an elected official she has experienced the dysfunction of our state’s government, its one-party dominated processes, and the increasingly irrational policies it puts forth.  She is running for State Assembly to restore rational policy making to Sacramento, to promote common-sense fiscal policies that encourage job creation, support small businesses, and stimulate local economies.
