Week 15 Entries

Contessa Mendoza wins this week’s contest with yet another absurd warning – apparently “furniture products” –the furniture itself? The polish to keep it dust free? The throw pillow accessory? –  is very dangerous to your health – as in causes cancer and birth defects. Target’s warning certainly has all of the bases covered. If you want to sit down, go to the beach.  No Prop 65 warnings are required for natural hazards, so squatting by the waves in the State of California should be ok.

Bullseye!!! Even Target is worried about getting penalties for not posting #prop65 warnings. They warn you on every receipt!!! Even if you didn’t buy an item that is on the prop 65 list. How is anyone to take this seriously? Companies post and inform just to cover themselves, not because there is a valid concern @californiapolicy #prop65Contest

If this isn’t absurd, I don’t know what is. Not only are there three Prop65 warning signs next to a “No Weapons Allowed” sign, but they are placed so low to the ground that only people who don’t know how to read can see them. I guess AMC theater allows chemical weapons. But as you can see, my son is un-phased by the warnings ?. #prop65contest #wreckitralph2 #amctheaters #noweaponsallowed

Interestingly, a no smoking sign is posted right next to a sign stating chemicals in the park can cause cancer and birth defects. The kids don’t get it either ??‍♀️? #prop65contest
